Jazz is profound blend of culture that subtends to two several artistic branches such as musical and dance. The jazz’s culture has been highly influenced by region and thus produced various flavors in both jazz songs and jazz dances. A notable thing about jazz culture is that it relied heavily on what jazz experts call ‘call and response’ technique. This ‘call and response’ feature of jazz culture has its roots in early African culture upon which their melodies and movements were used in celebrations to call respond to fellow Africans. Modernization leads to improvisation, as in such, modernization is an advantage to jazz. But it is did not go unscathed and un-criticized. Some jazz purists have claimed that modern or smooth jazz is bland and rather distasteful, but its popularity says and continues to say otherwise. 

Jazz’s future is definitely a bright one. As an artistic culture, jazz has yet to be rivaled in both archaic and modern arena. Jazz’s survival is inherent with its improvisation feature and will continue to appear as an undying artistry which quickly evolves and catch popular posts in both music and dance.
